HuppsYour Hupps account

Your health. Your data. Your insights.

Terms of Use.

Hupps helps you understand your health and control how your data is shared. These terms explain the service, your choices, and our responsibilities to you.

1. About these terms

These terms are between you and the Hupps operator identified under Who we are, where you can also find our company and contact details.

These terms govern the Hupps service when you accept them. They cover your Hupps account and the connection and sharing features we make available to you. A separate agreement is needed for a business to integrate Hupps into its own app; these consumer terms do not grant business API access.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data and how to exercise your rights. Accepting these terms does not itself give consent to process or share health data. Health-data connections, sharing, personal insights and research require the separate explicit consent described in that policy. Personal insights are a core part of Hupps, with consent requested through the signup action. Research participation remains a separate optional choice.

2. What Hupps provides

Hupps is a consumer health app. Its purpose is to help you understand your health and exercise control over access to and sharing of your health and fitness data. Available account, connection, and data-sharing features are shown in the service. Personal health insights are not currently available. Your statutory rights relating to descriptions of the service remain unaffected.

Where supported, you can connect a source, choose what a participating app may access, and manage those choices. Data availability and accuracy depend in part on your device, source, permissions, and the relevant provider. We do not promise access to every source, historical record, or derived score.

Hupps is free for individual users at launch. If we introduce a paid offering, we will explain its price, billing arrangements, cancellation terms, and applicable withdrawal rights before you agree to pay. These terms alone do not authorise a charge or subscription.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms. Provide accurate account information, use an email address you control, and keep your sign-in codes and email account secure. Do not share an account or connect another person's data without lawful authority and a supported authorisation process.

Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may need to verify your identity before changing access or responding to an account request. You are not automatically responsible for every unauthorised use of your account; responsibility depends on the circumstances and applicable law.

4. Your data and instructions

You choose whether to connect a source and which participating apps may receive data. Each instruction is limited to the source or connection, recipient, data, and purpose explained in the relevant flow. We do not receive a general authority to act on your behalf merely because you accept these terms.

If a supported feature asks us to make a data-access request on your behalf, we act only within the authority you give for that request. We may need further information to establish your identity or entitlement. Your rights under the GDPR and, where applicable, the EU Data Act remain yours and can also be exercised directly with the organisation holding your data. These terms do not guarantee a provider's approval or access to an API.

Review the scope before allowing access. An app permission may apply to eligible matching data from multiple sources, including sources you connect later, where the permission flow explains this. A new recipient or an additional purpose requires the appropriate further permission.

You can withdraw permission by contacting [email protected]. Stopping sharing with an app, disconnecting a source, and deleting an account are separate actions. Withdrawal concerns future processing based on that permission and does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful. It does not itself erase copies already received by another app. The privacy policy explains deletion requests and recipient responsibilities.

5. Health information

Hupps provides information and data controls for personal health awareness. It does not provide a medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency monitoring service. Information available through Hupps should be understood in the context of its source data and limitations. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Do not delay seeking medical help or change treatment solely because of information shown in Hupps. If you need urgent help, contact your local emergency services. This explanation of the service does not remove any responsibility we have under applicable law.

6. Using Hupps responsibly

When using Hupps, do not:

  • Access someone else's account or data without lawful authorisation.
  • Misrepresent your identity, permissions, or relationship with a source or app.
  • Bypass access controls, interfere with the service, or introduce malicious software.
  • Use Hupps to collect or share data unlawfully or infringe another person's rights.
  • Resell access to Hupps or use its consumer account as an unauthorised business integration.

These restrictions do not prevent you from exercising statutory data-access or portability rights. Please report a security concern to [email protected] without including health records, passwords, or sign-in codes.

7. Sources and participating apps

Connected sources and participating apps are separate services with their own terms and privacy notices. A connection does not mean that a provider endorses Hupps or that Hupps endorses every use of that provider's service. Support for a source can depend on provider approval and technical availability.

Sharing is subject to the permissions you give, applicable law, and any provider restrictions that lawfully apply. A user instruction alone does not make every onward transfer permissible. We may need to limit a connection if the requested use is not supported or permitted, while preserving your statutory rights.

We remain responsible for our own service and obligations. Contact the relevant source or app about its own account, subscription, or subsequent use of data. You can also contact us about a problem with the Hupps connection.

We use health-data connection providers to connect health accounts and process health data, as explained in the provider section of our privacy policy. The provider and its end-user privacy notice are presented in the connection flow. That notice forms part of the notices governing the relevant connection. Before activating the connection, you must access and accept that notice and separately consent to the provider’s processing. Accepting these terms alone does not complete those steps.

8. Your data and our service

Using Hupps does not transfer your rights in your personal data to us. We process it for the purposes and on the legal bases explained in the privacy policy and the permissions you give. These terms do not grant us an unrestricted licence to sell, publish, or repurpose your health data.

Hupps and its licensors retain their rights in the software, branding, and original service content. We give you permission to use the service for its intended personal purposes under these terms. This does not restrict rights you have under applicable law or a separate open-source licence.

9. Closing or suspending an account

You can stop using Hupps and request account closure at any time by contacting [email protected]. You can request closure and deletion in the same message. We will explain any information that must be retained and why, as described in the privacy policy. Signing out or clearing browser storage does not close the account.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect accounts or the service, investigate a serious breach of these terms, or comply with law. We will use a proportionate response and, where practical and lawful, explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue. Urgent security or legal concerns may require immediate action.

We may end an account for a serious or repeated breach that cannot reasonably be resolved, or where continued service would be unlawful. You can contact us to challenge a decision. Suspension or closure does not remove your privacy rights or any remedies available under consumer law. Retention and deletion are explained in the privacy policy.

10. Changes and availability

We take reasonable care to operate Hupps, but interruptions can occur, including during maintenance or when a connected provider changes its service. We will provide notice of significant planned interruptions where reasonably practical.

We may update the service or these terms for a valid reason, such as a legal requirement, a security issue, or a change to supported features or provider arrangements. We will explain material changes and give reasonable advance notice unless an urgent legal or security reason prevents it. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights or authorise new uses of your data.

Where a change requires your agreement, we will ask for it. If you do not agree to a material change, you can stop using the affected service and close your account. Any additional cancellation, refund, or other rights provided by applicable law remain available. If we discontinue Hupps, we will give reasonable notice and explain how to request your data and account deletion, unless the law prevents that notice.

11. Our responsibilities

We are responsible for providing Hupps with the care and skill required by applicable law and for meeting the commitments we make to you. These terms do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Your mandatory consumer and data-protection rights continue to apply. Nothing here removes your right to a remedy for a service that does not meet legal requirements, or your right to compensation where the law provides it. Responsibility for any other loss is determined under applicable law, taking account of its cause and the circumstances.

12. Who we are

Hupps is operated by AI HELENUS LIMITED, registered in Cyprus with registration number HE 471127, at 19 Viomichanias Street, Lakatameia, 2326 Nicosia, Cyprus. “Hupps”, “we”, and “us” mean AI HELENUS LIMITED. You can contact us at [email protected].

13. Questions and disputes

Send questions or complaints to [email protected], or write to our address in Who we are. Describe the issue and the outcome you are seeking, without sending passwords or unnecessary health information. We will consider the complaint and work with you to resolve it.

These terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections under the law that would otherwise apply in your country of habitual residence. You may bring proceedings in any court available to you under applicable law. These terms do not require exclusive proceedings in Cyprus or mandatory arbitration.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply where they can lawfully do so. You do not have to contact us before exercising a right to complain to a regulator or seek a legal remedy.
